Cougar (Felis Concolor)

Cougars (Mountain Lions) range throughout Western Canada and are all harvested under strict Provincial Wildlife Regulations. These big cats are all taken during the Winter months, and at the best of times have short fur. Unlike the Bobcat or Canada Lynx, which have very long fur. The trading and exporting of Cougars is controlled under Appendix II of CITES.

Canada Lynx (Lynx Canadensis)

These cats a cousin to Bobcats are from Canada's Yukon, Northwest Territories and Northern British Columbia. The Lynx is distinguished by its long ear tufts and their snowshoe like paws. Trading and Exporting of Lynx are controlled under Appendix II of CITES.

These Cats from Western Canada are commonly called Lynx Cats and are a highly sought after specimen for the fur trade and are bringing top dollar on North American Fur Auctions. Bobcats are monitored and controlled under Appendix II of CITES.

Arctic Timber Wolf (Canis Lupus)

These Arctic Pale Wolves range in size from 6 feet to 7 feet in total length. The Pale colour is a trait commonly seen in Wolves from the High Arctic. All Wolves are regulated and controlled by Appendix II of CITES.

MUSKOX FUR RUGS

All of our Muskox come mainly from the Western Arctic of Canada in the Northwest Territories. Some muskox range to the east, but in a select amount of Population. Muskox on Banks Island are in an abundant supply, so much so they are becoming a detriment to their survival due to lack of food forage and a lack of predators. Our rugs come with canvas or denim backing and are mounted with closed mouth. Muskox are controlled under Territorial Wildlife Regulations and therefore only require a Sundry Export Permit. Muskox can be exported to the USA.
